The Illuminated Art Series

The Illuminated Art Series began with The Illuminated Tarot, a personal project of mine that was later published by Clarkson Potter. I’m thrilled that the deck has resonated with so many, from tarot beginners to experienced readers looking for a different perspective on familiar archetypes.

The Illuminated Tarot: 53 Cards for Divination and Gameplay folds tarot’s Major and Minor Arcana archetypes together to make a 53-card deck that can be used for both game play and tarot readings. Each set contains a book of keywords and a short intro to reading the cards.

The Illuminated Tarot Guidebook is a self-published print and e-book that goes beyond the keywords with image descriptions, quick suit- and number-based interpretations, and questions for reflection. The book also includes an overview of the deck's relationship to traditional 78-card decks and historical background on tarot and cartomancy.

Dreamer’s Journal: An Illustrated Guide to the Subconscious is a hardcover guided journal that includes an illustrated dream dictionary and blank pages for recording your dreams.

Illuminated Playing Cards is a two-deck playing card-sized version of The Illuminated Tarot printed with gold metallic ink. The set includes a booklet of classic card games and tarot keywords.

Illuminated: A Journal For Your Tarot Practice is a guided journal for use with any tarot deck. It includes interpretations of a standard tarot deck’s 78 cards, plus tarot spreads, journal prompts, and dot grid pages for writing, drawing, and notes.

The Illuminated Tarot Puzzle has 1000 pieces and is printed with gold metallic ink. It includes a large poster with card keywords on the reverse side.

The Illuminated Tarot Coloring Book includes more information than the book that comes with the deck but less than the guidebook, with space for notes alongside each color-able card design. The coloring book has thick, heavy paper that holds up to a variety of media.
